Betaal is an Indian horror web television series based in a remote village that serves as the battleground between British Indian Army officer Betaal, his battalion of zombie redcoats, and the Indian police. It is directed by Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan. Patrick also previously created Horror TV series Ghoul.

A special task force named the Baaz Squad, led by a dynamic officer Tyagi (Suchitra Pillai), has been deployed in the interiors of Chhattisgarh to set the area free from the Naxal clutches as the government has given a go-ahead for a highway. The second-in-command Vikram Sirohi (Vineet Kumar Singh) and his deputy Ahluwalia (Ahana Kumra), along with the team, reach the zero ground to realize that it has more to hide than reveal.

A TV series on zombies has never been attempted in India. Its the toughest genre to crack and to succeed I must say. For me its a spectacular visual treat after Tumbaad. Anyone who watched Tumbaad would definitely like it. It is a mythological story with a little bit of horror in it.

The VFX team has done a wonderful job. All those scenes in the entire series look real and convincing. I loved the entire set-up, mood, set direction, make-up, VFX, and sound effects. The zombies and infected soldiers were quite realistic and plausible. The cast was amazing and the performance by the actors is phenomenal especially Vineet Kumar and Manjiri Pupala (the woman playing the villager). I am very pleased to see that talented actor like Vineet Kumar is getting his much-deserved ,screen presence.

Finally I must say that Betaal is a visual treat. Go for it 👌👌👌.
